I Dream of California

I dream of cascading over
Mountains
I dream of forever orgasming eternity away
Under the glowing nighttime
In Los Angeles.

I dream of California
Washing over me.
I dream of San Francisco jazz
Blasting in my ears.
I dream of her
Sitting next to me
As we make our way
To freedom.
I dream of a sun
That never ends.

I dream of green grass
Omnipotent green grass
Swirling around my naked body
As she blows smoke in clouds
In the backseat of her car.
I dream of cigarettes
Dangling between my lips
As the thunderous wind
Blows back her hair.
I dream of her hand
Resting on my broad shoulder
Soothing and calming.
I dream of leafing through
Her flowing strands of hair
Like a collection
Of Whitman's finest.

I dream of escaping
These enclosures
That encapsulate me
So egregiously.
I dream of her touch
Seeping through my skin
Her fingers tracing the tones
Of my forearm.
I dream of California
Performing rituals on me
Cleansing my body.
I dream of a muse
Singing softly in my ear
From so far away.
I dream of her naked skin
Sweet to the taste
Smooth to the touch
Caressing my naked skin.

I dream of sexual escapades
Amidst tramping adventures
In downtown Los Angeles.
I dream of rockstars
And cocaine bars
Misting fog over my head.
I dream of forever
Seeing an oceanic expanse
That never ends.
I dream of her hands
(Always her hands)
Grazing mine
As we drive
Forever freed,
Freed forever.
